is Canada Grocery Rebate Coming in 2024?
Launched in the budget of 2023, the Canada Grocery Rebate was distributed on 5th of July 2023 with direct deposits to the eligible citizens of the country. As of now, neither the Canadian government nor the CRA have made any official announcement for the Canada Grocery Rebate coming in 2024. The grocery rebate payment amount can be varied on the size of your family. For instance, if you are applying individually, then your payment can vary as compared to those who are applying with their common-law partner or spouse. The number of children you have can also impact your rebate amount for both individually and for a couple. Eligibility for the Canada Grocery Rebate
It is important to be aware of the eligibility requirements in order to qualify for the rebate. I have provided the eligibility criteria in the following points:
- The Canadian citizenship will be required for the grocery rebate.
- The rebate will not be distributed to the citizens of Quebec.
- The minimum age required to be eligible for the Canada Grocery Rebate is 19 years old or above.
